Students from the IT and Sindhi departments of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU) recently visited the Abdul Majid Bhurgri Institute of Language Engineering (AMBILE) in Hyderabad. The visit focused on exploring the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for enhancing the capabilities of the Sindhi language.

AMBILE Director Amar Fayaz Buriro warmly welcomed the group and kicked off the session with an engaging demonstration. Buriro showcased how AI can be harnessed to integrate and strengthen Sindhi within the digital landscape.

The visit marked a significant development with the announcement of a comprehensive training program for the visiting students. This program will provide them with in-depth training on working with Sindhi WordNet, a crucial resource for AI applications involving the Sindhi language.
