September’s got to be our favourite month here at PC World, with the announcement of the iPhone launch and the much-anticipated Galaxy Note 8. After the debacle that was the Galaxy Note 7, they seem to have found their footing once again and have brought forward a beautiful specimen that is the Galaxy Note 8.
What looks like a bigger version of the S8, has garnered excellent reviews from all critically acclaimed reviewers. Wired on their review of the Note 8 stated that ‘Samsung’s OLED displays always show rich blacks and vibrant colors, and this is so big and high-res that you can’t help but admire it.’ The camera is undoubtedly one of the biggest upgrades as it offers a dual camera which is one of the best cameras ever in a smartphone. Engadget have gone on to state that the company’s first attempt is among they’ve ever used. They’ve combined a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with another 12-megapixel sensor for wide-angle shooting with an added feature of 3x optical zoom.
