September’s got to be our favourite month here at PC World, with the announcement of the iPhone launch and the much-anticipated Galaxy Note 8. After the debacle that was the Galaxy Note 7, they seem to have found their footing once again and have brought forward a beautiful specimen that is the Galaxy Note 8.

What looks like a bigger version of the S8, has garnered excellent reviews from all critically acclaimed reviewers. The Note 8 offers a noticeable upgrade in screen size with a 6.3 super AMOLED WQHD+ (1440×2960). Wired on their review of the Note 8 stated that ‘Samsung’s OLED displays always show rich blacks and vibrant colors, and this is so big and high-res that you can’t help but admire it.’ The camera is undoubtedly one of the biggest upgrades as it offers a dual camera which is one of the best cameras ever in a smartphone. Engadget have gone on to state that the company’s first attempt is among they’ve ever used. They’ve combined a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with another 12-megapixel sensor for wide-angle shooting with an added feature of 3x optical zoom.

The phone also offers an excellent battery life even after a decrease in battery size. PC World on their review have stated how the Note 8 managed to last a full day despite heavy use and benchmarks reached the 9-hour mark. Finally, the S Pen manages to work well with the Note 8 and Samsung have added new features which complement the Note 8.

Samsung has managed to make it convenient for the users in Pakistan to buy the Note 8. They’ve put forward a deal where a user can pre-order the phone now on the local Samsung website. They’ve coordinated with renowned online stores such as Daraz, Telemart and HomeShopping that has made it easier for users to avail this offer. Samsung is promising a little extra for all pre-ordering customers, by offering them a 20% discount and Free Wi-Fi Access on Etihad Airways, along with Unlimited Access of Iflix Membership for 1 year. The mobile device is priced at Rs. 108,999 on each of these websites and is said to be dispatched after 26th September 2017.
