Roshan Digital Account (RDA) initiative has achieved a significant milestone, with gross total inflows surpassing the $10 billion mark and the number of accounts opened by overseas Pakistanis reaching 800,000. This achievement underscores the continued trust and confidence that non-resident Pakistanis have placed in this platform, which was launched by SBP to facilitate digital banking and investment opportunities for the diaspora.
Since its inception, the RDA has provided a streamlined and efficient channel for overseas Pakistanis to engage with Pakistan’s financial system, offering services such as account opening, funds transfer, and investment in various instruments, including Naya Pakistan Certificates. The substantial inflows and growing number of accounts reflect the success of the initiative in attracting foreign investment and strengthening the country’s foreign exchange reserves.
