PASHA Startups and Entrepreneurship Committee is set to host an exclusive session in Lahore titled “What Global Investors Look for in Startups,” bringing together founders, innovators, and tech enthusiasts for an in-depth discussion on investor expectations and strategies for global market readiness. The session will feature Abdul Guefor, Managing Director at Intel Capital EMEA, who will provide practical insights for startups aiming to attract investment from international funding bodies. The event will take place on Thursday, 20th November 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at NIC Lahore.

The session is designed to address key challenges faced by early-stage companies and growth-stage startups in positioning themselves for global investment opportunities. Guefor will share his expertise on what international investors prioritize, including business models, scalability, technology innovation, team structure, and market potential. Attendees will have the chance to learn directly from a seasoned investor with experience in evaluating and funding startups across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, offering insights that go beyond standard funding advice.

Organizers from P@SHA emphasized that the event will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and mentorship. Founders attending the session will gain exposure to strategies for aligning their operations and growth plans with global investment standards. Discussions are expected to highlight the importance of building resilient business models, understanding investor priorities, and demonstrating market readiness to secure funding from both regional and international venture capital firms.

With seats limited, registration is open until 18th November 2025, ensuring interested participants reserve their spot for this focused learning opportunity. The event also aims to strengthen the local startup ecosystem by connecting emerging entrepreneurs with experienced investors and industry leaders, fostering a culture of mentorship and collaboration. This session underscores P@SHA’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent in Pakistan and preparing startups to engage with the global investment community.
