PASHA has taken another significant step toward strengthening Pakistan’s startup ecosystem by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HUB47 on October 15, 2025. The agreement marks an important collaboration aimed at supporting entrepreneurs, advancing innovation, and creating global pathways for Pakistani startups. The MoU was signed during GITEX Dubai 2025, one of the world’s largest technology exhibitions, underscoring Pakistan’s growing presence and participation on the international innovation stage.

The MoU was signed by Usman Akbar, CEC Member at P@SHA, and Muhammad Shahbaz Khan, Director at HUB47. The signing ceremony was attended by several notable figures from the Pakistani tech community and global innovation leaders. Among those present were Sajjad Syed, Chairman P@SHA; Sheikh Abdul Qadir, CEC Member P@SHA; and Kheezran Khan, Director Brand and Global Outreach P@SHA. From the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Shahbaz Hameed, Director Business Development and Partnerships, and Abrar Qureshi, Manager Events and Delegations, were also in attendance. Other industry representatives included Muhammad Omer Khan, CEO of Bits Collision; Dr. Faisal Kamiran, CEO of Addo AI; and Khurshid Alam, Technology Team Lead at HUB47.

The collaboration between P@SHA and HUB47 is centered on empowering Pakistan’s startup community by providing access to new resources, mentorship, and international exposure. Through this partnership, both organizations aim to accelerate the growth of emerging businesses by bridging the gap between local innovation and global opportunity. By connecting Pakistan’s entrepreneurs with international markets, the agreement seeks to enhance knowledge exchange, attract investment, and foster a culture of collaboration. This initiative will not only help startups build sustainable business models but also encourage cross-border partnerships that contribute to Pakistan’s technology-driven economy.

HUB47’s focus on innovation, digital transformation, and venture growth aligns closely with P@SHA’s mission to advocate for and strengthen the local IT industry. The MoU signifies a shared commitment to driving technological progress and supporting the digital ambitions of Pakistani entrepreneurs. With Pakistan’s tech ecosystem expanding rapidly, partnerships like these are crucial in positioning the country as a competitive player in the global digital economy. The collaboration also reflects the increasing synergy between private sector leaders and innovation hubs, working collectively to enable a more connected and resource-rich environment for startups.

By engaging with global platforms such as GITEX Dubai, Pakistan continues to demonstrate its growing influence within the international technology landscape. The signing of this MoU adds to the momentum being built by Pakistani companies and organizations working to elevate the nation’s innovation profile. Through this alliance, P@SHA and HUB47 reaffirm their shared vision of fostering entrepreneurship, promoting innovation, and building a more inclusive and globally integrated technology ecosystem for Pakistan’s startup community.
