Pakistan Software Export Board has invited all interested and eligible firms to participate in a Pre Bid Meeting related to its Request for Proposal titled Selection of a Training Company under Prime Minister’s Initiative Component III, which focuses on capacity building of the IT industry in specialized technologies and platforms. The pre bid session is intended to provide clarity on the scope, expectations, and procedural aspects of the RFP, particularly for firms interested in delivering structured soft skills training to IT professionals across Pakistan’s expanding technology sector.
According to PSEB, the pre bid meeting will serve as an interactive forum where prospective bidders can raise questions, address ambiguities, and gain a clearer understanding of the requirements outlined in the RFP. The initiative falls under a broader government program aimed at strengthening human capital within the IT industry by enhancing both technical and professional competencies. While Component III emphasizes specialized technologies and platforms, the current RFP places specific focus on soft skills development, recognizing the growing importance of communication, leadership, collaboration, and professional effectiveness for IT professionals operating in competitive global markets.
The meeting is scheduled to be held online via Zoom on January 1, 2026, at 03:00 PM, allowing participation from firms regardless of geographic location. PSEB stated that hosting the session online ensures broader accessibility and encourages participation from a diverse range of training providers with experience in workforce development and professional education. Interested firms can join the session using Meeting ID 826 2893 3447 and Passcode 745746 through the official Zoom link https://lnkd.in/dYwi_RSf. PSEB emphasized that timely participation in the meeting will help firms align their understanding with project objectives and expectations before preparing and submitting proposals.
By attending the pre bid meeting, firms are expected to gain detailed insights into the scope of work, evaluation criteria, bidding process, and submission requirements associated with the RFP. PSEB noted that such sessions are designed to promote transparency and ensure that potential bidders are well informed, enabling them to submit comprehensive and competitive proposals. The board highlighted that the training initiative aims to support Pakistan’s IT professionals in strengthening workplace readiness and global competitiveness, which in turn contributes to the broader goals of IT export growth and industry sustainability. PSEB also reiterated that firms planning to participate in the bidding process are encouraged to review the complete RFP documentation in advance so that questions raised during the meeting can be specific and constructive, supporting a smoother procurement process overall.
The Prime Minister’s Initiative under which this RFP has been issued reflects the government’s continued focus on capacity building within the technology sector, with particular attention to skill development aligned with international market needs. Through collaboration with qualified training companies, PSEB aims to deliver structured programs that enhance professional skills among IT practitioners nationwide. The pre bid meeting represents an important step in aligning stakeholders and ensuring effective implementation of the initiative, as PSEB continues efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s position as a competitive destination for technology services and talent development.
