The Prince’s International Enterprise Challenge Pakistan has been operational in Pakistan for about three years and has managed to engage more than 22,000 young individuals from 30 cities. It is one of the biggest business challenges which are working for the school-age children from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan and Federal regions.
The final of the national finals of the Prince Trust Enterprise Challenge recently took place on the 29th of January 2019 at the British Deputy High Commission in Karachi. The competition saw 7 finalists from across the country who traveled to showcase their business ideas in front of industry leaders and dignitaries.
Two teams emerged as clear winners at the event. The team that managed to clinch the best idea award over their business model hailed from Gilgit Baltistan, their winning business idea revolved around providing healthy and organic food for the youngsters in Gilgit Baltistan. However, the Audience Choice award went to the team from Sindh which belonged to the St. Joseph’s Convent that is working on developing the sports facilities specifically in the economically lesser-privileged areas.
