PriceOye is a comparison shopping website based out of Islamabad, Pakistan. Founded in 2015, the service compares prices for mobile phones across online stores in Pakistan. It was launched as a public beta in mid-February, 2016. As a website for comparison of online prices of thousands of products sold online, their software finds prices from trusted shopping websites, so that customers can reliably find the latest and lowest prices.

Adnan Shafi, is the CEO of Price Oye, and highlighted how the company is working despite the setback of Covid-19. The company has currently closed down their office and allowed all of their employees to work from home. Since their work primarily revolves around cloud-based working. Hence the company can aim to transition to working from home and thus the employees can work through their company-given devices. Their on-ground operations have come to a halt that comply with government regulations which include delivery of their products to customers. Meanwhile, PriceOye have set up dedicated helplines and are keeping customers up to date regarding the status of their product. Since they are part of the National eCommerce Council, they are also in communication with the government to allow product deliveries so that customers can have their items delivered without the need to go out and risk their health.

The company is currently using Slack to stay in touch with their employees and Trello to keep track of the tasks that the team is working on and finally, Skype to have regular team meetings. As the Covid-19 has brought to a halt of major e-commerce platforms in the world, they plan to anticipate and work towards a time when lockdown has ended as they expect that more people will later switch to online shopping and prepayments platform and these e-commerce stores need to plan accordingly and work towards the customer journey in the process.
