Pokémon GO became the ultimate game for fans all around the globe that enabled one to hunt for Pokémon and battle to capture them. However, the game still lacked one very important feature that was considered as the most important component of gaming i.e. player versus player battling.

The complaint of not having a player vs. player batter is about to change, as Niantic in a series of teaser tweets has confirmed that the battle system is on the way. The battling feature has been high in demand especially after the trading option was finally added around six months ago.

In the game, while players have been able to battle Pokémon that were stored in gyms and work together to take down Pokémon in raids, the game lacked the real-time, head-to-head battling system for which the TV series is so well-known.
