The Punjab Information Technology Board has opened registrations for a new batch of its flagship SheWins Training Program, aimed at equipping women across Punjab with in-demand digital skills through a newly introduced specialised course focused specifically on Artificial Intelligence-driven online earning.

Women candidates can now apply for admission to the AI Skills for Online Earning course, a six-week online bootcamp offered at a subsidised fee of Rs. 15,000. The programme is designed to provide practical, industry-relevant training across several interconnected areas including Generative Artificial Intelligence, Smart Prompt Engineering, the fundamentals of Agentic Artificial Intelligence, and the application of Artificial Intelligence in freelancing and social media work. Rather than treating these as separate theoretical modules, the course structure is built to give participants a connected understanding of how these tools function together in real freelancing and digital income-generation contexts.

Participants will also gain hands-on experience working directly with various Artificial Intelligence tools and will be introduced to practical methods for generating income through digital platforms, positioning the bootcamp as a route into freelance and remote income opportunities rather than purely academic exposure to the technology. The emphasis on online earning specifically reflects a growing recognition that Artificial Intelligence literacy is increasingly tied not just to traditional employment but to independent, platform-based income generation, an area where Pakistan has already established a strong global presence through its broader freelancing economy.

PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said that through the SheWins programme, women are being equipped with modern technological skills so they can effectively leverage Artificial Intelligence, advance within the digital economy, and contribute meaningfully to global innovation. The SheWins initiative has positioned itself as one of Punjab’s flagship efforts to close the persistent gender gap in digital skills and economic participation, and the introduction of an Artificial Intelligence-focused track reflects the programme’s ongoing evolution to keep pace with the specific technical competencies that are increasingly shaping employment and income opportunities in the digital economy. Interested candidates can register online through the official SheWins registration form.
