Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has launched registrations for the SheWins Training Program, offering women across Punjab the opportunity to enhance their skills and improve employment prospects. The program, which provides a 40% discount on online classes, operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is designed to empower women with practical, industry-relevant training.
SheWins is a key initiative by the Punjab IT Board, offering both online and in-person training aimed at equipping women with hands-on experience in high-demand sectors. Through this initiative, women can develop the skills needed to achieve financial independence and contribute to societal and economic development.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf highlighted the program’s broader impact, stating, “The program aims at empowering women through training so that they can contribute to the nation’s economic development.”
The SheWins Program offers a range of practical courses tailored to help women gain competencies in key areas, including local e-commerce, video content creation, social media marketing, logo and brand design, and SEO and blogging with AI. These skills are designed to make women more competitive in the job market and help them achieve financial stability.
To qualify for the program, candidates must be between 16 and 50 years of age and possess at least a Matriculation certificate or higher qualification. Interested participants can apply via the official PITB website by completing an application form and submitting the required fee receipt. The cost of the five-week training program is set at Rs. 15,000.
The SheWins Training Program aims to bridge the skill gap and provide women with the tools they need to thrive in today’s competitive digital landscape.
