The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) have joined forces to implement the e-Filing and Office Automation System (e-FOAS). This digital solution aims to revolutionize the operational efficiency and transparency of the PFA.

The agreement was signed by Muhammad Waseem Bhatti, Director General of Government Digital Services at PITB, and Muhammad Asim Javaid, Director General of the PFA. The collaboration marks a significant step towards modernizing the PFA’s operations and enhancing its ability to serve the public.

e-FOAS is a comprehensive digital platform that streamlines official communication, document management, and record-keeping. By digitizing workflows, the system eliminates the need for paper-based processes, reducing paperwork and improving efficiency. This will enable the PFA to respond to public inquiries and concerns more promptly and effectively.

The implementation of e-FOAS aligns with the Punjab government’s vision of digital transformation. By leveraging technology, the government aims to enhance public service delivery, improve transparency, and reduce administrative burdens.

With the adoption of e-FOAS, the PFA is set to become a more efficient and responsive organization. The system will empower the authority to make data-driven decisions and improve its overall performance.
