Residents of Peshawar are facing difficulties due to disruptions in mobile phone and internet services in various parts of the city.

Citizens have reported intermittent mobile service signals in Peshawar, with complete outages in some areas. Internet connectivity has also been significantly slow, impacting online transactions and other essential services.

While the exact reasons for these disruptions remain unclear, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has previously stated that internet issues will be resolved by the end of October. The PTA is currently working on the installation and upgrade of a Web Management System (WMS), which is expected to be completed by October 20.

It is worth noting that similar disruptions occurred last weekend in Islamabad during the PTI protests, resulting in complete outages of internet and mobile services. Several key routes were blocked off, leading to widespread connectivity issues.
