PayFast and UBL Partner to Revolutionize Digital Payments in Pakistan

PayFast, a licensed payment gateway, and UBL, one of Pakistan’s largest commercial banks, have joined forces in a strategic partnership to transform the landscape of digital payments in the country. Under this collaboration, UBL will serve as one of PayFast’s Partner Banks.

The aim of this partnership is to enable Pakistani businesses to easily accept online payments, leading to faster and smoother transaction processing times. Additionally, the alliance will drive PayFast’s efforts to introduce improved digital products, services, and innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs and challenges of both domestic and international businesses.

Adnan Ali, CEO of PayFast, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are excited about this collaboration with UBL, an institution that remains at the forefront of the banking sector. By combining UBL’s extensive banking network with PayFast’s expertise, we aim to enhance the seamless and secure experience for our clients.”

Tughral Amir, Head of Digital Money & Financial Inclusion at UBL, emphasized the bank’s commitment to embracing innovation and delivering enhanced banking services to partners and customers. He stated, “PayFast, as a leading fintech in Pakistan, perfectly aligns with our vision to facilitate and contribute towards the growth and development of Pakistan’s digital economy.”
