Computerworld as technology media partner of PASHA ICT Awards 2025 is proud to feature the announcements of winners in the Indigenous Services, Regional, Rural & Remote Services subcategory. This category highlights how technology can improve access, create opportunities, and empower communities in rural and regional areas across Pakistan. PASHA ICT Awards continues to recognize initiatives that use innovation to address local challenges and drive social and economic development.

Global Animal Passport Registration secured the top position with its Animal Passport platform, which provides a streamlined solution for registering and tracking animals across the country. By simplifying administrative processes and ensuring accurate record-keeping, Animal Passport demonstrates the potential of technology to enhance efficiency and accessibility for rural communities that depend on livestock management.

Two runner-ups also distinguished themselves through impactful projects. PakData – Pakistan Data Management Services received recognition for its Easy Pashto Keyboard, a tool designed to improve digital communication and accessibility for Pashto-speaking populations. Hire In Pakistan was recognized for its platform that connects local talent with employment opportunities, fostering economic participation and bridging gaps in regional labor markets.

The Indigenous Services, Regional, Rural & Remote Services subcategory at PASHA ICT Awards 2025 underscores the importance of technology in promoting inclusion, access, and opportunity. By celebrating achievements like those of Global Animal Passport Registration, PakData, and Hire In Pakistan, PASHA highlights the role of digital solutions in supporting the growth and empowerment of communities across Pakistan’s diverse regions.
