On March 29, 2026, Kheezran Khan, Director of Brand and Global Outreach at PASHA, attended the exclusive welcome dinner held for ASOCIO and Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) members in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of a series of high-level engagements taking place ahead of the ASOCIO Plenary Meeting. The evening featured two parallel hosting arrangements reflecting the depth of Pakistan’s representation at the event. The APICTA dinner was hosted by Dr. Shoab Khan, Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Advanced Research in Engineering and former Chairman of PASHA, and Muhammad Zohaib Khan, also a former Chairman of PASHA, while the ASOCIO dinner was hosted by Stan Singh, ASOCIO Chairman, bringing together a distinguished gathering of regional technology leaders for substantive engagement and relationship building.

The welcome dinner provided a valuable platform for networking, exchanging insights on regional digital priorities, and reinforcing Pakistan’s growing presence and credibility within the global technology sector. With Pakistan confirmed as the host nation for the ASOCIO Digital Summit in November 2026, informal engagements of this nature play an important role in building the bilateral and multilateral relationships that translate into meaningful participation and investment when the summit takes place. Conversations at such dinners often lay the groundwork for formal collaborations, partnerships, and delegations that shape the outcomes of major technology events months later.

For PASHA, consistent and visible representation at ASOCIO and APICTA forums signals to the international community that Pakistan’s technology industry is an active, engaged, and ambitious participant in regional digital dialogue rather than a peripheral observer. As the countdown to November’s summit continues, engagements like the Bangkok welcome dinner are steadily building the momentum, goodwill, and anticipation that Pakistan will need to deliver a successful and impactful ASOCIO Digital Summit 2026 on home soil.
