Buyers are advised to verify PTA approval status before making a purchase, as approved devices are confirmed to support local network bands and avoid potential registration complications. Non-approved devices may still function on the network but could face usage restrictions or require additional steps to operate fully. As network operators expand their infrastructure over the coming months, 5G coverage is expected to extend progressively beyond the initial launch cities, making device readiness an increasingly relevant consideration for anyone currently in the market for a new smartphone in Pakistan.
