Pakistan has marked an important moment on the global digital stage as Federal Minister for IT and Telecom Shaza Fatima Khawaja visits Kuwait to receive the Presidency of the Digital Cooperation Organization for the 2026 to 2027 term. During the Grand Opening of the 5th General Assembly of the Digital Cooperation Organization, the Minister outlined Pakistan’s perspective on the opportunities and responsibilities that accompany rapid advances in emerging technologies. Addressing delegates and international stakeholders, she stressed that innovation must be supported by sound governance frameworks that protect users while enabling growth.
