An industry first, Pakistan is set to administer its inaugural Quality Test for IT graduates on December 28th. The announcement was made by Dr. Saif during the DHa Tech Talk event held in Karachi on Tuesday, December 12th.

This groundbreaking initiative aims to assess and enhance the quality of IT graduates in the country. The Quality Test is expected to play a crucial role in ensuring that IT professionals meet the industry’s standards and possess the necessary skills for the rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Additionally, Dr. Saif disclosed that the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NVTTC) will commence skills training on January 1st. This training program aligns with the government’s commitment to fostering a skilled workforce and promoting excellence in the field of Information Technology.

It’s noteworthy that Pakistan annually produces approximately 75,000 IT graduates. The introduction of the Quality Test and the skills training program reflects a concerted effort to elevate the quality and competence of the IT workforce, contributing to the country’s technological advancement and global competitiveness.
