Representatives from All Pakistan Network Association (APNA) met with the Chairman of PTA, Major General (Ret.) Hafeez Ur Rehman, to discuss a proposed license template for Class Value Added Services (CVAS).

The APNA delegation shared their perspectives and raised concerns regarding the CVAS licensing process in general, with a focus on proposed changes to the license template itself. The PTA engaged in an interactive discussion with the delegation and requested them to formally submit their written feedback.

This meeting reflects the PTA’s commitment to a collaborative approach in regulating the telecom sector. All relevant stakeholders were invited to participate in the consultation process through face-to-face meetings and written submissions within a designated timeframe.

The consultation period for the CVAS License Template concludes today, April 17, 2024.
