Pakistan achieved significant recognition at the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2025, securing seven awards and highlighting the country’s growing presence in the regional technology sector. The accolades reflect the creativity, innovation, and technical expertise of Pakistan’s brightest minds and their contribution to shaping the digital landscape in Asia Pacific. Among the winners, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) was recognized for outstanding achievement, while the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, claimed the prestigious People’s Choice Award for its innovative initiatives.

First runners-up awards were presented to Fazaia Inter College Jinnah Camp, PAF Base Nur Khan, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), DynaSys Networks, and Unikrew Solutions Private Limited. These organizations stood out for their inventive approaches, problem-solving capabilities, and efforts to push boundaries in ICT innovation. The recognition underscores Pakistan’s commitment to fostering technology-driven solutions and promoting a culture of excellence in the digital domain. The evaluation process was guided by esteemed judges Dr. Shoab Khan, Shahzad Shahid, Dr. Usman Akram, and Khuram Idrees, whose expertise ensured that merit and innovation were at the forefront of the awards.

The awards ceremony was attended by P@SHA Chairman Sajjad Syed, EXCO Member, and Zain Tariq, Manager Industry Engagement at P@SHA and APICTA Economy Coordinator. Their presence highlighted the role of leadership and collaboration in supporting Pakistan’s technology ecosystem and celebrating the accomplishments of the country’s digital innovators. These awards not only recognize individual and institutional achievement but also emphasize the importance of nurturing the next generation of technology leaders who can contribute to both national and regional digital growth.

APICTA Awards serve as a platform to showcase excellence in ICT across the Asia Pacific, drawing attention to solutions that drive efficiency, inclusivity, and innovation. Pakistan’s performance at the 2025 edition demonstrates a vibrant technology ecosystem that is increasingly competitive on the international stage. The success of these organizations reinforces the potential of Pakistani talent to deliver impactful solutions across education, enterprise, and digital infrastructure. By supporting initiatives that recognize innovation and technical achievement, Pakistan continues to strengthen its reputation as a hub for emerging technology and startup excellence in the region.

These achievements inspire further collaboration, learning, and innovation, as Pakistan’s tech leaders and organizations continue to demonstrate their capabilities in international forums. The recognition at APICTA Awards 2025 celebrates the collective efforts of innovators, educators, and entrepreneurs who are actively shaping a dynamic and future-ready ICT landscape.
