Pakistan’s participation in London Tech Week 2025 resulted in five strategic Memoranda of Understanding and the generation of more than 300 business leads, contributing to immediate deals worth $1.55 million. The engagement marked a significant advancement in promoting Pakistan’s digital services and strengthening its visibility in global technology markets. The efforts were led by the Ministry of IT & Telecom and executed by PSEB in collaboration with TDAP under the Tech Destination Pakistan initiative.

According to PSEB, these outcomes reflect the government’s ongoing commitment to supporting Pakistan’s IT sector by integrating domestic tech companies into international supply chains. The business deals were largely concentrated in key areas such as artificial intelligence, fintech, software-as-a-service, and digital health, with UK and European buyers showing strong interest. The results were documented in a post-event report released under the Tech Destination Pakistan branding.

The Pakistan Pavilion at the exhibition featured 14 leading companies offering services in software development, cybersecurity, mobile and web development, BPO, and cloud computing. The pavilion attracted attention from enterprise clients, venture capital firms, and technology media, resulting in new business prospects for exhibitors. PSEB highlighted that this participation builds on several years of industry engagement and capacity building aimed at enabling Pakistani firms to compete globally.

Branding efforts under the “Think Tech, Think Pakistan” campaign elevated Pakistan’s presence across London through creative visibility strategies. Fifty black cabs in the city were branded with the campaign’s visuals, while prominent digital billboards were placed at key locations including Oxford Street and Canary Wharf. The campaign also included a social media challenge that gained substantial traction, offering prizes such as a trip to Lahore and amplifying digital engagement around the country’s tech sector.

Beyond the exhibition floor, members of Pakistan’s delegation conducted targeted B2B meetings and private networking sessions with senior UK-based tech leaders, diaspora founders, and international investors. These engagements were facilitated with support from the Pakistan High Commission and the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Key participants included executives from Starling Bank, Haruko, Immuneff, and investors from firms like Sturgeon Capital and Cur8 Capital. Conversations focused on expanding startup growth, enabling cross-border investment, and forming long-term partnerships in digital finance and technology innovation.

Pakistan’s tech ecosystem continues to expand, with over 6,000 IT and ITeS companies and a skilled workforce exceeding 300,000 professionals fluent in English and experienced in global delivery. The country’s representation at London Tech Week aimed to showcase this potential, offering international clients access to a growing base of technology providers ready to deliver scalable, export-oriented solutions. PSEB stated that the momentum from the event will support further outreach and export diversification efforts in the months ahead.
