Lahore made history as it hosted the first-ever Performance Marketing Conference at the Pearl Continental Hotel on February 23, 2025 marking a significant milestone in Pakistan’s digital marketing and e-commerce landscape. Organized by the Pakistan E-commerce Association and powered by Popcorn Studio, Delogics, Deployers PK, and Gingko Retail, the event attracted an impressive crowd of over 750 attendees, far exceeding the initial 500 registrations. Despite logistical challenges posed by a high-stakes Pakistan vs. India cricket match on the same day, the conference proved to be a landmark event, drawing some of the most influential figures in the digital marketing and e-commerce industries.

A key feature of the conference was the lineup of distinguished keynote speakers who shared their insights on the evolving trends in digital marketing, performance marketing, and e-commerce innovation. Among them were industry leaders such as Abdul Wahab, Ali Khan Swati, Amir Attique, Haider Ahmed Qazi, Marryam Qureshi, Muaaz Zubairi, Muhammad Abdullah, Muhammad Nafay, Musa Raza, Obaid Arshad, Omer Mubeen, Saqib Azhar, Sara ZRI, Sherish Ali, Shan Mehr, Sheikh Rohail, Umair Arshad, Wahab Yunus, Zain Hameed, and Zohaib Malik. Their thought-provoking discussions provided a roadmap for businesses and marketers looking to navigate Pakistan’s rapidly growing digital economy.

One of the most anticipated segments of the event was a high-powered panel discussion titled “E-commerce Marketing in the Digital Age: Trends, Tools, and Tactics.” Moderated by Syed Jahangir, Head of E-commerce at Stylo Group, the discussion featured a panel of industry leaders including Najam Mazari (CEO, Chiltan Pure), Ali Khan (CCO, Cresset), Tauseef Bajwa (CEO, Technogroves), Saqib Naqvi (Growth Head, Clicky), Faheem Raza (E-commerce Expert), Yameen Malik (CEO, Sefam Pvt Ltd), and Muaaz Zubairi (Senior Group Manager, E-commerce Master Group). The conversation delved into the latest innovations in digital marketing, the role of artificial intelligence in e-commerce, and the future of online sales. Attendees gained valuable insights into how businesses can leverage data-driven marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and increase conversions.

Beyond the discussions, the conference featured expert-led sessions by renowned speakers including Muteeb Siddiqi (CEO, The Vertical), Amir Attique (CEO, Popcorn Studio), Haider Ahmed Qazi, Umair Arshad, Sehrish Ali, Mateen Mughal, Marryam Qureshi, Saqib Naqvi, Faheem Raza, Imran Sheikh, Kashif Iftikhar, Shan Mehr, and Imran Khan. These industry experts shared cutting-edge strategies and real-world case studies, equipping attendees with actionable insights into the ever-evolving world of performance marketing.

One of the most notable moments of the conference was the announcement of a strategic partnership between the Pakistan E-commerce Association and the Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP). This collaboration is expected to provide young entrepreneurs with increased access to resources, mentorship, and funding opportunities, further fueling Pakistan’s digital economy.

The event also served as a launchpad for two groundbreaking initiatives aimed at revolutionizing the e-commerce landscape in Pakistan. The first, EcomNews.pk, is a dedicated news platform that will provide real-time updates on Pakistan’s e-commerce sector, emerging technology trends, and IT industry developments. The second, Demoves.com, is a comprehensive courier solution designed specifically for e-commerce businesses, offering streamlined logistics and order fulfillment services. These new ventures highlight the conference’s role in fostering innovation and supporting the growth of Pakistan’s digital ecosystem. The success of the event was further bolstered by the support of prominent sponsors and industry partners including Clicky, BagX, Chiltan Pure, Brothers Packages, Upstreet Co, Vertex Co-working Space, and The Vertical. Their contributions played a crucial role in making the conference a reality, ensuring that it provided immense value to all attendees.

Despite the challenge of hosting the event on the same day as a highly anticipated Pakistan vs. India cricket match, which resulted in significant traffic congestion around the venue, the enthusiasm and dedication of the attendees underscored the passion and commitment of Pakistan’s digital marketing and e-commerce communities. The overwhelming participation demonstrated the growing demand for industry-specific conferences that provide professionals with the latest insights, networking opportunities, and tools needed to excel in the fast-paced digital marketplace.

The Performance Marketing Conference ’25 was more than just an industry gathering—it was a movement that set the stage for the future of Pakistan’s digital marketing landscape. With its thought-provoking discussions, high-caliber speakers, valuable networking opportunities, and game-changing announcements, the conference firmly established itself as the premier event for performance marketing and e-commerce in Pakistan.

As the event concluded, the organizers expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming response and pledged to build on this momentum by organizing even bigger and better events in the future. The resounding success of the conference is a testament to the growing influence of Pakistan’s digital economy and the country’s potential to become a global player in e-commerce and performance marketing. The journey has only just begun, and as Pakistan’s digital sector continues to expand, events like these will play a crucial role in shaping its trajectory.
