Pakistan Digital Authority has announced the appointment of Saadullah Javed to its growing team, as the authority accelerates its mission to build world-class, citizen-centric public services under the Digital Nation Pakistan initiative. The appointment brings a seasoned digital transformation leader into PDA’s fold at a critical juncture, as the authority works to develop and roll out a range of national digital products and platforms designed to improve how citizens interact with government services.

Saadullah Javed joins Pakistan Digital Authority with a strong track record spanning sophisticated digital transformations across major corporate and public sector platforms. His professional background includes leading regional user interface and user experience service delivery, managing complex global digital blueprints, and driving critical process innovations across fintech, enterprise, and broader digital ecosystems. This cross-sector versatility, spanning some of the most demanding and fast-evolving areas of the technology industry, positions him well for the multi-dimensional challenges that come with designing and delivering digital services at a national scale.

Central to his appointment is a deeply held commitment to human-centered design philosophy, which Pakistan Digital Authority identified as a particularly strong fit for its vision of citizen-first public services. His approach encompasses deep qualitative user research, translating complex user behaviors into intuitive digital products, and bridging the gap between what users genuinely need and what modern technology can deliver in practice. Backed by a strong academic and professional foundation in Project Management and Human-Computer Interaction, his strategic design thinking is expected to inform PDA’s upcoming national initiatives in a meaningful way.

The appointment reflects Pakistan Digital Authority’s broader strategy of building internal leadership capacity with professionals who bring both technical depth and a user-centered perspective to the work of government digitization. As PDA continues to expand its mandate under the Digital Nation Pakistan Act 2025, having leaders like Saadullah Javed embedded within the team signals an intent to move beyond infrastructure-level digital projects and invest seriously in the quality, accessibility, and usability of the digital products that Pakistani citizens will ultimately interact with on a daily basis.
