Over 200,000 Complaints Registered with Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in a Year: Report

During 200,000 complaints from telecom users were submitted to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) over the course of the previous year.

Documents made accessible to ProPakistani show that between July 2021 and June 2022, the authority received 218,621 complaints from telecom users. 83,641 of the 218,621 complaints have been resolved, 65,780 have been dismissed, and 20,984 have only been partially resolved.

While 9,007 complaints have been rejected for a variety of reasons, PTA received inadequate information from customers in 37, 810 complaints.
