Leading HR professionals in Karachi gained critical insight into how to leverage technology to improve overall employee engagement and performance during Oracle’s recent ‘Modern HR for Modern Business’ event.

In addition to equipping organizations with information on the latest technology innovations in this area, the event provided a range of presentations and panel discussions.  A key area of focus was how accessible leaders and strong company values benefit the organization and are determining factors for an employee’s success or failure within the company.

Another hot topic was the impact of the millennial workforce, not just in Pakistan but also globally.  Discussion centered on the need to give them the same digital experiences they are accustomed to receiving as consumers, and how to attract and retain them in today’s fiercely competitive global market. A highlight of the event was a panel discussion co-hosted by Keystone, a Gold level member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork.  The session, which included local HR professionals, focused on the challenges faced by HR practitioners in the areas of sourcing, retaining and evaluating talent.

“We have been working with Oracle to provide best-in-class HR solutions to organizations in Pakistan for some time.  We help customers create highly effective and modern HR departments and give them the ability to drive positive business outcomes through their HR functions,” said Ahsen Javed, CEO at Keystone. “It’s very encouraging to hear that HR professionals are looking towards technology to help acquire and retain talent to provide their organizations with a competitive edge. With the recent additions to the Oracle HCM Cloud portfolio and growing interest in the cloud shown by organizations in Pakistan, we are confident that we can help local businesses to quickly benefit from ready-to-use solutions with minimum go-to-market time.”
