OpenAI has expanded its suite of productivity tools by releasing a comprehensive collection of ChatGPT prompt templates, designed to cater to a wide range of professional roles and industry use cases. The new templates aim to simplify AI-assisted work by helping users generate effective prompts tailored to their specific job functions, making ChatGPT more accessible to both technical and non-technical professionals.

The curated collection includes prompt templates for major professional domains such as product management, engineering, marketing, sales, HR, IT, finance, and customer success. Each template offers pre-built examples that users can customize according to their workflow, helping them achieve faster and more accurate responses from ChatGPT. This release is part of OpenAI’s broader initiative to integrate AI tools more seamlessly into daily professional operations, improving efficiency, collaboration, and decision-making across different organizational levels.

Users can access the new resources directly via OpenAI’s Academy platform. The general collection, titled ChatGPT for Any Role, serves as the starting point for users looking to explore AI’s potential across diverse roles. Specialized prompt templates include ChatGPT for Product for product teams, ChatGPT for Engineering Teams for technical workflows, and ChatGPT for Sales for customer acquisition and engagement. Additional templates target business functions like Marketing, IT, HR, Managers, Finance, and Customer Success.

By segmenting prompt templates according to role and industry, OpenAI is helping professionals streamline routine tasks such as report drafting, data analysis, content generation, meeting summaries, and workflow automation. The initiative highlights the increasing relevance of generative AI in the workplace, allowing employees to harness ChatGPT’s capabilities for practical outcomes rather than experimentation alone. For startups and enterprises alike, these resources can act as ready-to-use guides for integrating AI tools into existing processes without the need for extensive technical knowledge.

The release has been well received across online professional communities, particularly among users from the Startup Syndicate network, which compiled and shared the full list for easy access. As organizations continue to experiment with AI adoption, OpenAI’s structured approach through these templates offers a scalable way to standardize prompt creation while maintaining flexibility across roles and sectors. This effort underscores the growing movement toward embedding AI literacy within modern work practices, helping professionals at all levels enhance productivity through intelligent automation.
