The NUST Iqbal Executive Development Centre has opened applications for a two-day professional development course focused on Technology-Driven Public Private Partnerships, designed for practitioners, policymakers, and professionals who work at the intersection of government, technology, and private sector collaboration. The course is scheduled for April 27 and 28, 2026, running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days, and interested applicants can register through the online form at forms.gle/SQ5NHmZKr6kxvJ7JA.

Public Private Partnerships have increasingly become a central mechanism through which governments in Pakistan and across the region are delivering infrastructure, digital services, and public goods, with technology now playing a defining role in how these arrangements are structured, monitored, and evaluated. The course reflects a growing recognition that traditional frameworks for understanding these partnerships are no longer sufficient in an era where artificial intelligence, digital platforms, data systems, and automation are reshaping how public and private actors collaborate and share risk.

The NUST Iqbal Executive Development Centre, situated within one of Pakistan’s most respected research and technology universities, regularly offers executive education programmes that bridge academic knowledge with applied professional practice. A two-day intensive format of this kind is typically suited to professionals who are already active in relevant fields and are seeking structured exposure to frameworks, case studies, and peer learning rather than extended academic study. The course on Technology-Driven Public Private Partnerships arrives at a time when Pakistan’s federal and provincial governments are deepening their engagement with the private sector on digital infrastructure, smart city initiatives, fintech regulation, and e-governance, making the subject matter directly relevant to a wide range of professionals in the public administration, technology, finance, and consulting sectors.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995.
