NTC Deploys SDI Video Broadcast Equipment for VVIP Coverage

NTC has deployed a new Digital Video Broadcast equipment for Pakistan Television (PTV). This latest state of the art SDI Video Broadcast equipment has been made functional for VVIP coverage initially for Islamabad which will subsequently be extended to other provinces/parts of Pakistan. As per MD, NTC Brig Viqar Rashid Khan, SDI Video Broadcast equipment has been connected on redundant Optical Fiber link with PTV Center for broadcasting high quality signals from various locations in Islamabad. NTC Deploys SDI Video Broadcast Equipment for VVIP Coverage.

This facility would enable PTV to broadcast live sessions from the Apex offices ON-AIR through digital and secured Optical Fiber Cable. NTC and PTV are further negotiating to expand the system through-out Pakistan.

MD NTC Brig (R) Viqar Rashid Khan, expressed his complete satisfaction over the recent achievements made by NTC and hoped that NTC will further strive to provide good quality and most modern services from its Multi Services platform and Optical Fiber networks. NTC is the first telecom operator in Pakistan which has recently introduced“NTC GoSmart App” Machine to Machine (M2M) and Point 2 Point (P2P) technologies under the able guidance of Minister IT, Ms Anusha Rahman.

MD NTC appreciated the efforts made by its officers and employees in maintaining high QoS

As per the vision of Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan to “Digitalize Pakistan” NTC has embarked upon to extend its telecom ICT services to all districts/cities of Pakistan within next three years. During current F.Y. 2016-17, NTC is going to complete 100% of its ADP projects in time which will be a record in Public Sector.
