The National Information Technology Board has issued a Request for Proposal announcement, inviting sealed proposals for the Pre-Qualification Invitation for Managed Information Technology and Integrated Services. The submission deadline is set for June 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with all proposals to be submitted through the Electronic Public Procurement and Auction System, commonly known as EPADS. The announcement was made under the Digital Nation Pakistan initiative, reflecting the government’s ongoing commitment to modernising its information technology infrastructure through structured and transparent procurement processes.

The pre-qualification stage is a standard procurement mechanism used by government bodies to assess the technical and financial capability of vendors before inviting them to submit full proposals. By issuing a pre-qualification invitation specifically for Managed Information Technology and Integrated Services, the National Information Technology Board is signalling its intent to engage with capable and credible technology service providers who can deliver end-to-end managed solutions across government operations. Managed information technology services encompass a broad range of capabilities including infrastructure management, network operations, cybersecurity, helpdesk support, and enterprise-level service integration, all of which are critical to sustaining and scaling Pakistan’s digital government services.

Interested vendors and technology firms are encouraged to review the detailed tender documents and eligibility criteria available at https://lnkd.in/dvd5viAv and on the official National Information Technology Board website at www.nitb.gov.pk/tender.html. Submissions must be made exclusively through the EPADS platform before the deadline of June 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The use of EPADS as the submission channel underscores the government’s push toward digitising its own procurement and administrative processes, ensuring greater transparency, efficiency, and audit-readiness in how public technology contracts are awarded and managed.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
