The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) has encouraged its graduates to explore employment and further learning opportunities through the Prime Minister’s Digital Youth Hub (DYH), a digital platform designed to connect young Pakistanis with opportunities in education, employment and professional development. In a message shared on its official LinkedIn account, NAVTTC urged graduates to take the next step after completing their skills training by using the platform to search for jobs, internships, courses and scholarships. The initiative aims to help young people translate their technical and vocational qualifications into practical career opportunities. While completing a training programme provides foundational knowledge and professional skills, graduates also need access to employers, work experience and additional learning pathways to improve their prospects. The Digital Youth Hub brings several types of opportunities together through the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, allowing users to explore options relevant to their qualifications, interests and career goals. NAVTTC has invited its graduates to register on the platform and share the resource with other former trainees who may be looking for employment or further education.

The Digital Youth Hub serves as a central online gateway for opportunities across four areas: education, employment, engagement and the environment. Its employment section allows young people to explore job openings, while the internships section helps users look for opportunities to gain practical experience. The platform also lists courses, professional certifications and scholarships for those who want to continue developing their skills or pursue further education. Additional opportunities under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme include entrepreneurship support, skills development initiatives, volunteer activities and youth engagement programmes. By consolidating these resources in one place, the platform seeks to make it easier for young people to identify relevant options without having to rely entirely on separate websites and announcements. Graduates can access the Digital Youth Hub through the official Prime Minister’s Youth Programme website at pmyp.gov.pk or use its mobile application, available for Android and iOS devices. Applicants should review the eligibility requirements and instructions attached to each opportunity before applying, as individual jobs, internships, scholarships and training programmes may have different conditions and deadlines.

NAVTTC plays a central role in vocational and technical skills development in Pakistan, offering training programmes designed to prepare young people for employment in different industries. Its programmes cover technical and digital fields alongside practical trades, helping participants develop skills that can be applied in local and overseas job markets. The commission has also highlighted job placement support as part of its skills development efforts. However, completing a course does not automatically guarantee employment, and graduates must still identify suitable vacancies, meet employer requirements and complete recruitment processes. Digital platforms such as the DYH can help bridge the gap between training and employment by making opportunities easier to discover. Graduates can use the platform to look for entry-level positions, internships that provide workplace experience, and additional courses that address gaps in their existing skills. Those seeking technology-related careers may also explore opportunities to improve their capabilities in areas such as software development, data analytics, cybersecurity and other in-demand digital disciplines, depending on the programmes and vacancies currently available.

NAVTTC’s appeal reflects the importance of connecting vocational training with clear routes into employment and continued professional development. For graduates entering the job market, the next steps may include preparing an updated CV, creating a professional profile, reviewing job descriptions carefully and applying for positions that match their qualifications. Internships can provide valuable exposure to workplace practices, while additional courses and certifications may help candidates build specialised expertise. Applicants should keep their educational records, training certificates and other required documents ready when responding to opportunities. The Digital Youth Hub can serve as a starting point for this search, but candidates should verify application details and deadlines through the official listings. By directing its graduates towards the platform, NAVTTC is encouraging them to continue beyond the training stage and actively pursue opportunities to use their skills. The initiative also highlights the role of digital services in connecting young people with employment, education and career development resources across Pakistan.
