The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) has announced new career opportunities as part of the PSDP Project: Cyber Security for Digital Pakistan (Phase I). This initiative is aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s digital infrastructure by bringing in highly skilled cybersecurity professionals to protect the country’s cyber frontiers.

As cyber threats continue to evolve, the government is taking proactive measures to build a strong cybersecurity framework. National CERT is hiring for key positions, including Director LABS, Director TDC, Technical Program Director, Assistant Director (Hardware), and System/Network Penetration Tester. These roles are designed to enhance Pakistan’s capabilities in cyber defense, penetration testing, and hardware security, ensuring a more resilient digital ecosystem.

With the rapid digital transformation in Pakistan, there is a growing need for cybersecurity expertise to safeguard government institutions, businesses, and critical infrastructure. National CERT’s recruitment drive is part of the broader Digital Pakistan strategy, aiming to fortify the country’s cybersecurity landscape and mitigate risks associated with increasing cyber threats. The selected professionals will play a crucial role in securing the nation’s digital assets, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing proactive security measures to counter cyberattacks.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online through the National Job Portal (www.njp.gov.pk) within 15 days of the announcement. This presents a valuable opportunity for cybersecurity professionals to contribute to national security efforts while working on cutting-edge security frameworks. As Pakistan embraces digital transformation, initiatives like these will be instrumental in building a safer and more resilient digital economy.
