NADRA is set to begin a Mobile Registration Drive in the United Kingdom from August 23, 2025, offering critical identification services to overseas Pakistanis living in key cities. The initiative will deploy mobile registration vans in Banbury, near Birmingham, and Brierfield, near Manchester, to provide services such as renewal of Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs), issuance of National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOPs), and Family Registration Certificates (FRCs). To ensure smooth processing, NADRA has advised participants to bring their old CNICs or B-Forms when visiting the mobile units.

The drive has been structured to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all, with female staff on-site and separate counters established for women, making the experience more convenient for families. In addition to the physical mobile registration facilities, NADRA continues to encourage the use of its Pak ID mobile app, which has become an essential tool for digital identity management. Through the app, users can renew CNICs, register vital events such as births and marriages, and even apply for government jobs online, reflecting the shift towards digital-first solutions in public service delivery.

This effort is part of NADRA’s broader agenda of improving outreach and convenience for expatriates, ensuring that overseas Pakistanis have access to vital documentation without facing unnecessary hurdles. The Commission has been actively expanding its facilitation network, with earlier steps including the upgrade of the one-window facilitation desk at Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar. That upgrade was designed to streamline services for international travelers and expatriates, integrating physical support with the growing adoption of the Pak ID app.

By combining mobile registration services with digital tools, NADRA is addressing the diverse needs of Pakistanis abroad, ensuring they remain connected to the country’s administrative systems. This move reflects the growing importance of digital governance and inclusive service delivery in Pakistan’s institutional framework, aligning with the government’s wider digital transformation efforts. With initiatives such as the UK registration drive, NADRA is reinforcing its role as a key enabler of secure, accessible, and modern identification systems for citizens at home and abroad.
