NADRA Technologies Limited and Unikrew Solutions (Private) Limited have formalised an additional strategic memorandum of understanding, extending their existing collaboration to cover new opportunities in digital identity verification, customer digital onboarding, and end-to-end digital workflows. The new understanding builds on the existing relationship between the two organisations and is distinct in scope from an earlier agreement between them related to Mobile Biometric Verification Services, reflecting a deliberate expansion of the partnership into broader digital transformation territory.

Unikrew Solutions is a leading digital technology company specialising in digital identity, Islamic digital finance, seamless digital onboarding, and generative artificial intelligence-driven solutions, currently serving over 42 financial and public sector organisations and having been entrusted with national-level use cases in Pakistan following selection through a public procurement process in NADRA. The company’s track record of deployment at the national level gives the partnership a firm operational foundation, with Unikrew bringing proven indigenous technology capabilities alongside the institutional reach and implementation experience that NADRA Technologies Limited contributes to the collaboration.

Through this understanding, NTL and Unikrew Solutions will work together by complementing each other’s respective strengths across multiple opportunities, both nationally and internationally, with the collaboration reflecting a shared intent to bring together institutional reach, implementation experience, and advanced indigenous technology capabilities to support secure, scalable, and impactful digital transformation initiatives across sectors. It is also explicitly noted that the new memorandum of understanding is independent of Unikrew’s existing technologies already deployed for critical national use cases, which were selected through formal public procurement, ensuring there is no conflation between the two organisations’ pre-existing contractual arrangements and this forward-looking strategic engagement.

Unikrew Solutions Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Naveed Sharif described the formalisation of the additional strategic understanding as a forward-looking partnership to jointly pursue high-impact opportunities in Pakistan and international markets, distinct from the company’s existing national-level deployments. By combining their respective capabilities, NADRA Technologies Limited and Unikrew Solutions aim to create greater momentum for future-ready digital initiatives that can deliver trust, inclusion, efficiency, and innovation at scale. The partnership comes at a time when demand for secure, interoperable digital identity infrastructure is growing rapidly across Pakistan’s financial sector, with regulators and institutions increasingly focused on building onboarding systems that are both inclusive and fraud-resistant.
