Mobilink Bank has taken a significant step towards women’s economic empowerment by launching Pakistan’s first industry-specific incubation program exclusively for women entrepreneurs. The initiative, part of the bank’s Women Inspirational Network (WIN) program, aims to nurture and support 25 women-led startups.

The WIN Incubator will provide comprehensive training and mentorship to participants, covering areas such as business planning, financial management, and marketing. Upon completion, the most promising startups will compete for a PKR 4 million investment.

Sumera Abbasi, a seasoned entrepreneur and executive director of TiE Islamabad, has been appointed to lead the incubator program.

“We believe in the potential of women entrepreneurs to drive economic growth,” said Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, Interim CEO of Mobilink Bank. “The WIN Incubator is designed to provide them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.”

The bank has a strong track record of supporting women-led businesses, with 25% of its loan portfolio dedicated to female customers. This initiative further solidifies Mobilink Bank’s commitment to financial inclusion and gender equality.

By investing in women entrepreneurs, Mobilink Bank aims to create a more inclusive and prosperous Pakistan.
