Islamabad:  Mobilink Bank, part of the VEON group, has entered into two separate Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs) with the International Institute of Entrepreneurship (TIIES) and Pakistan Freelancers’ Association (PAFLA) to strengthen financial literacy, inclusivity, and entrepreneurship in Pakistan.

The collaborative partnerships between Mobilink Bank, TIIES, and PAFLA aim to organize events and workshops, offer support to freelancers, provide academic assistance, and establish incubation centers across the country. Through this strategic alliance, the parties seek to empower entrepreneurs and drive economic growth.

As part of the collaboration, Mobilink Bank will set up incubation centers to assist micro and small entrepreneurs in developing their businesses and addressing challenges they may encounter along the way. Additionally, the bank will open Freelancer Accounts for existing and new members of PAFLA and TIIES, offering mentorship, training, learning opportunities, and co-working spaces in various cities.

An essential aspect of this partnership is the promotion of Mobilink Bank’s DOST App and its associated services. Educational events will play a vital role in creating awareness and understanding of the app’s features, encouraging its adoption, and enabling a larger number of individuals to access its inclusive digital and financial services.

The signing of the MOUs took place at Mobilink Bank’s Headquarters in Islamabad, with Ghazanfar Azzam, President, and CEO of Mobilink Bank, Dua Sukhera, Founder & CEO of TIIES, and CEO PAFLA Tufail Ahmed Khan present, along with senior officials from the respective organizations.

Speaking on the occasion, Ghazanfar Azzam, President, and CEO of Mobilink Bank expressed his excitement about the collaborations, stating, “These partnerships exemplify our shared mission of empowering young entrepreneurs and fostering innovation. By combining the Bank’s financial expertise with entrepreneurship programs from TIIES and PAFLA, we are creating an ecosystem that nurtures and accelerates the growth of young entrepreneurs. Together, we are committed to making a positive impact, fostering a collaborative environment that nurtures creativity, encourages innovation, and drives economic prosperity.”

Mobilink Bank remains dedicated to promoting the entrepreneurial landscape through innovative initiatives, ensuring a thriving environment for emerging business owners and fostering their growth in Pakistan.
