Mobile World Capital Barcelona Launches International Awards

GSMA Foundry, in collaboration with Mobile World Capital Barcelona and B Lab Spain, has launched the Mobile World Capital Barcelona International Awards. These awards recognize innovative projects that harness the power of technology to drive positive social and environmental impact.

To be eligible, projects must demonstrate a strong commitment to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), have been operational for at least 12 months, and showcase measurable results. The focus is on projects that leverage technology to address societal challenges and create a more sustainable future.

The awards are open to a diverse range of organizations, including SMEs, startups, non-profit organizations, academic institutions, and public institutions.

By recognizing and celebrating innovative projects, the Mobile World Capital Barcelona International Awards aim to inspire and empower individuals and organizations to create a more sustainable and equitable world. These awards highlight the transformative potential of technology to address global challenges and drive positive social change.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995.
