LibXR has partnered with Meridian EdTech Global to support a special education initiative by the Government of Punjab that will introduce augmented reality powered learning tools in public schools across the province. The collaboration will focus on bringing interactive learning experiences and immersive digital education resources to students, particularly those in early childhood and primary education. LibXR announced the partnership through a LinkedIn post, stating that the initiative is being carried out in support of the provincial government’s education drive under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The project is expected to use augmented reality technology as an additional learning resource for students in public schools across different communities.
Under the partnership, LibXR and Meridian EdTech Global will work on deploying AR powered interactive learning tools that can supplement conventional classroom teaching. Augmented reality allows digital content to be presented alongside the physical environment, creating interactive experiences that can be used to explain educational concepts and learning material. The companies have indicated that their focus will include students in early childhood and primary education, where interactive learning resources can be incorporated into classroom activities.
