Knowledge Platform, a leading Pakistani edtech venture, has merged with Eneza Education, a prominent Kenyan edtech company, to create a global education technology powerhouse. The merged entity, headquartered in Singapore, will serve over 1 million learners across Africa and Asia.

This strategic partnership brings together two highly experienced teams with a shared vision of leveraging technology to transform education. By combining their expertise in AI, learning technologies, instructional design, and education support, the merged company aims to deliver innovative and impactful learning solutions.

Wambura Kimunyu, CEO of Eneza Education, expressed excitement about the merger, stating, “We are thrilled to combine our strengths and create a global force in education technology. By leveraging our combined expertise, we can reach more learners and make a significant impact on education in emerging markets.”

Mahboob Mahmood, Founder of Knowledge Platform, emphasized the synergistic nature of the merger, highlighting the complementary strengths of both companies. He noted that the combined entity is well-positioned to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences through gamified learning and adaptive learning systems.

The merger is supported by the GSMA, a leading global mobile industry association. Max Cuvellier Giacomelli, Head of GSMA Mobile for Development, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the potential of the merged entity to drive digital inclusion and improve learning outcomes in emerging markets.

With a strong foundation and a shared commitment to education, Knowledge Platform is poised to become a global leader in the edtech industry. The company’s innovative solutions and focus on learner-centric approaches will continue to shape the future of education in Africa and Asia.
