KICS Organizes Blockchain Hackathon @ UET Lahore

These days the buzzword that is occupying boardroom discussions, in business, governments, and technology circles around the world is Blockchain. It is no doubt that the technology has the potential to transform the way businesses operate and has potentially wide-ranging applications from banking to finance to healthcare to insurance.

Therefore, Al-Khawarizimi Institute of Computer Science (KICS) is organizing the Blockchain Hackathon (BCH-2018) from the 19th of December to the 20th December at KICS Department, UET Lahore. The hackathon is to provide student teams an opportunity to compete for cash prizes as you explore the possibilities of a future on the Blockchain.

The applications for the hackathon are now open with the submission Deadline 19th December 2018. The guidelines for submission are available on http://icosst.kics.edu.pk/2018/bch and for more queries one can contact the focal person Jamshaid Iqbal Janjua on jamshaid.janjua@kics.edu.pk.
