Khan Academy Pakistan has launched the Khanmigo AI teacher training program in Sindh through a collaboration with the Sindh government’s School Education and Literacy Department and UNICEF, aimed at bringing artificial intelligence based support tools directly to classroom teachers across the province. The initiative is designed to give educators access to AI assisted training resources intended to improve teaching methods and classroom outcomes.
As part of the program, teachers across Sindh are being introduced to Khanmigo, an AI powered tool built to assist with lesson planning, classroom support and professional development for educators. Syed Noor Ullah, a teacher at GBELS Main Sindhi TandoAllahyar, shared his experience with the program, describing how the training has influenced his approach in the classroom, reflecting the kind of practical, teacher level impact the initiative is intended to create across participating schools.
The collaboration brings together Khan Academy Pakistan’s experience in educational technology, the Sindh government’s oversight of public school systems, and UNICEF’s involvement in supporting education access and quality across the province.
