If there is one thing that the city of lights loves is its food, and it is rightly so as the main source of entertainment for Karachiites is indeed heading out to a good restaurant or a café to grab a bite.

Karachi Eat Festival is just the event for all the foodies out there in the city, bringing in all the cuisines the metropolitan has to offer at one place. The Karachi Eat Festival is going to be running in its fourth year starting from the 13th Jan till 15th Jan 2017 at Frere Hall. This year, the festival is said to be bigger than ever, if their social media campaign has anything to say about it, with an expectation of 70000-100,000 people this time around!

Karachi Eat has already picked up great value as a brand, with one of the most-anticipated events for the city. But that’s not all. The constant innovation and value additions the organizers bring to this annual food-fair is what keeps everyone running back for more.

For the first time, FINJA, a fintech based out of Lahore has made its entry to Karachi. With a digital payments system in place, supported by SimSim Wallet & the EasyTickets application, foodies who are headed to the three-day fest can purchase tickets for Rs. 99 only, instead of the standard Rs. 250 pricing. Paying for the food via the app can get you an additional discount of 30-40% as well.

Karachi Eat also has car services such as Uber and Careem on board, to avoid traffic and make it more convenient for people. They also have shuttle services to bring people from designated areas.

Presented by CKO Events, this time again, the festivak is sponsored by Faysal Bank, with supporting partners 7Up, FM91 & KMC. This year has a power-packed schedule with performances lined up by: Zoe Viccaji, Sara Haider, Jimmy Khan, Sounds of Kolachi, Fuzon and Natasha Humera Ejaz.

The official hashtag for the event is #Karachieat2017
