The largest internet and broadband service provider in Pakistan, Jazz, has received certification from ISO/IEC 27001:2013, the international standard for information security management systems.

Following a thorough evaluation procedure, Jazz, a member of the VEON group, received this accreditation, demonstrating its dedication to data security and top-notch customer service. Information security and business continuity are thoroughly practiced inside the organization thanks to certification by ISO/IEC, which guarantees that strong safeguards and controls are incorporated throughout business processes.

“ISO 27001 certification demonstrates our continued investment in security processes, risk management, and operational maturity,” said Khalid Shehzad, Chief Technology Officer at Jazz.

“We will continue to work towards being a safer and more secure partner for our subscribers so they benefit from the digital world through extra layers of safety and privacy protection, minimum threats, loss, and service disruptions,” he added.

The certificate covers internal customers’ use of the company’s data center hosting services and services provided by its information technology infrastructure, such as storage, backup, database management, planning and operation of IP networks, and information technology service operations.
