Innovista, in collaboration with Google, is set to launch the National Agentic AI Hackathon with a virtual kickoff event on September 17, 2025. The launch webinar will mark the beginning of a multi-city initiative aimed at fostering AI-driven solutions to tackle pressing real-world challenges in Pakistan.

The event will bring together key figures from the technology and innovation ecosystem. Hisham Sarwar, Chief Executive Officer of Innovista, will speak about the vision behind the hackathon and its potential to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers. Representing Google, Saad Hamid, Regional Lead for the Developer Ecosystem, will highlight the company’s support for advancing artificial intelligence in emerging markets. Additionally, Huzaifa Habib, Community Manager at Google, will participate in the event in the capacity of mentor and judge for the hackathon.

Scheduled to run from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (PKT), the launch webinar is expected to set the tone for the hackathon, which will span multiple cities across Pakistan. The initiative is designed to not only showcase the potential of AI applications in diverse industries but also create a collaborative platform where innovators, developers, and entrepreneurs can exchange ideas and build scalable solutions.

Organizers have emphasized that the National Agentic AI Hackathon is part of a broader effort to position Pakistan as an active player in the global artificial intelligence landscape. By engaging students, professionals, and startups, the hackathon will encourage participants to explore AI’s role in solving local challenges while aligning with international best practices.

Google’s involvement reflects its continued investment in nurturing talent and expanding its developer ecosystem in Pakistan. Through mentorship, resources, and technical guidance, the company aims to empower participants to move beyond experimentation and toward building deployable AI solutions.

Innovista, known for fostering innovation through community-driven initiatives, has highlighted that this hackathon will be more than just a competition. It will serve as a platform to connect AI talent with opportunities for growth, entrepreneurship, and collaboration. The launch webinar is therefore expected to provide insights into the themes, structure, and goals of the hackathon while encouraging participants to register and take part in what is being described as a first-of-its-kind movement in Pakistan’s AI landscape.

Registration for the webinar and the subsequent hackathon has been opened, with details available through official event links. Organizers are inviting participants from across the country to join the launch and become part of what they describe as a collective push toward AI-led transformation in Pakistan.
