The Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan, in collaboration with Ignite – National Technology Fund, has facilitated the participation of ten promising Pakistani startups at Expand North Star 2025, part of the renowned GITEX Global exhibition in Dubai. The event offers a valuable opportunity for startups to present their ideas, connect with global investors, and engage with leading entrepreneurs from around the world. This initiative marks another milestone in Pakistan’s efforts to empower local innovators and highlight the country’s potential as a rising technology hub on the global stage.

At the Ignite Pavilion located in Hall 8, B#180 at Dubai Harbour, the first day of Expand North Star 2025 witnessed an energetic start filled with dynamic startup presentations, meaningful discussions, and promising collaborations. The participating startups demonstrated creative solutions across various sectors including AI, healthtech, fintech, and digital transformation. The vibrant atmosphere reflected Pakistan’s evolving digital ecosystem, with young entrepreneurs actively engaging with international visitors, investors, and fellow innovators to explore potential partnerships and new market opportunities.

Ignite’s leadership, operating under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan, has played a central role in building a strong bridge between innovation and implementation. Through initiatives like this, the organization continues to translate the vision of Digital Pakistan into action by supporting technology-driven entrepreneurship and nurturing a culture of innovation. The Ignite Pavilion served as a platform for these emerging ventures to demonstrate how local talent can create impactful solutions with global relevance, attracting attention from key stakeholders across multiple industries.

The participation of Pakistani startups at Expand North Star 2025 reinforces the government’s ongoing commitment to promoting innovation and investment in the tech sector. It reflects a unified approach where collaboration between public and private institutions is driving the growth of a sustainable digital economy. As visitors and investors explore the Ignite Pavilion, the enthusiasm and innovation showcased by Pakistani entrepreneurs serve as a reminder of the country’s growing capabilities in technology and creative problem-solving. This year’s presence at GITEX Global highlights how local initiatives are contributing to positioning Pakistan as an emerging tech destination where innovation meets opportunity and ideas translate into tangible global impact.
