Ignite National Technology Fund has invited prospective bidders to participate in a Pre-Bid Conference for its Request for Proposals covering the design, deployment, operations and maintenance of Sovereign National AI Infrastructure under the National AI Innovation Hub. The conference is intended to give interested companies an opportunity to seek clarification on the project’s technical and procurement requirements before submitting formal bids.

The pre-bid conference is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the National Incubation Center Islamabad, located within the NITB Building in Islamabad. Prospective bidders can register for the session through the official registration link shared by Ignite ahead of the event, allowing companies to confirm their participation before attending the conference.

The National AI Innovation Hub initiative reflects the government’s continued push to build sovereign technical infrastructure specifically dedicated to artificial intelligence development within the country. By pursuing a nationally controlled AI infrastructure project, Ignite and its partner institutions are positioning the initiative as part of a broader effort to reduce dependence on foreign cloud and AI infrastructure providers while building local capacity for advanced computing and AI research.

The pre-bid conference marks an early formal step in what is expected to be a structured procurement process for the project, with the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication involved in the initiative as part of its broader digital transformation agenda. As Pakistan continues expanding its focus on domestic AI infrastructure development, projects like the National AI Innovation Hub are expected to play a growing role in shaping how the country builds and controls its own artificial intelligence computing capacity going forward.
