The Institute of Business Administration’s Centre for Information and Communication Technologies is hosting a two-day interactive and hands-on workshop titled Revolutionizing HR with AI and Automation in Islamabad on November 12 and 13, 2026, designed specifically for human resource professionals looking to integrate artificial intelligence and automation into their organisational practices. The workshop will be held at OGTI in Islamabad from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm across both days, totalling 16 hours of structured, practical instruction.

The workshop is led by two experienced practitioners from IBA. Irfan Qamar, Director HR at IBA Karachi, brings direct human resource leadership experience to the sessions, while Dr Faisal Iradat, Assistant Professor and Head of the Telecommunications Research Lab at IBA, contributes deep technical expertise in artificial intelligence and automation systems. Together, their combined backgrounds in people management and technology research give the curriculum a practical grounding in both the organisational and technical dimensions of artificial intelligence adoption in human resource functions.

The curriculum covers five core areas: transforming human resources into a strategic, artificial intelligence-powered function; identifying high-impact automation opportunities within HR workflows; applying data-driven decision-making to people management; redesigning HR processes for scale and efficiency; and implementing artificial intelligence with ethical frameworks and governance structures. Participants will also work through a practical 90-day artificial intelligence adoption roadmap, giving them a structured plan they can begin applying within their organisations immediately after completing the workshop.

The investment for the workshop is Rs 135,000, with a 25 percent group discount available for teams of five or more, making it more accessible for organisations sending multiple HR professionals together. Registration is available here, and further details can be obtained by contacting IBA at +92 21 111 422 422 or visiting IBA.
