Huawei Technologies Pakistan Pvt. Ltd in order to train teachers in terms of ICT related coursework and training program had announced their plan to send them to China in December.
The main purpose of the training is to apply what those teachers learned in China back home, and make it part of their teaching. The training was arranged in collaboration with National Vocational & Technical Training Commission, Pakistan.
Huawei selected 18 brilliant teachers on merit for a month-long training at the Chongqing Polytechnic College. All the selected teachers were government ICT professionals, selected from all over Pakistan.

Among the participants was Ghazanfar Ali, he is an instructor at Aman Tech Near Pakistan Refinery LTD, Korangi Karachi. During the training, he was among the 8 participants to clear the Huawei HCNA certification and received an appreciation certificate by the college. Speaking to the local news, about his experience, he said
“We were able to explore Chongqing city and got a chance to interact with very cooperative people during this journey. The whole idea was very meaningful and we are taking back useful knowledge for our students.”
At the closing ceremony all the trainees were thanked and appreciated for their hard work and learning efforts during the course and received training certificates.

Furthermore, the training not only consisted of ICT related coursework but also included exposure to Chinese culture. The delegation was given a city tour, which also the included the main tourist attraction spots. Moreover, the delegation also got to learn about Chinese history and people; the Chinese also learned from the Pakistani delegation.
The program was fully sponsored by Huawei Pakistan. Over the past few years, Huawei has sent a lot of students and teachers to China for various training programs.
