HONOR, the global AI device ecosystem company, has announced the establishment of a local smartphone manufacturing facility in Pakistan, in partnership with Golden Connect. The facility, situated in Sunder Industrial Estate, Lahore, is scheduled to begin production in April 2026 and is designed to meet HONOR’s global standards for quality, compliance, and sustainability. This move reflects the brand’s strategic commitment to strengthen its presence in the Pakistani market and support the country’s growing electronics ecosystem.

The Lahore facility has been developed with modern, technology-driven manufacturing processes, featuring advanced assembly lines, rigorous quality-control measures, and scalable production capacity. Initially, the plant will focus on high-demand smartphone models, with plans to expand production across HONOR’s product portfolio in later phases. Local manufacturing is expected to improve supply-chain efficiency, allow faster go-to-market execution, offer competitive pricing, and provide enhanced localization for Pakistani consumers.

Golden Connect, HONOR’s local partner for manufacturing and distribution, brings extensive experience in large-scale operations and regulatory compliance. Their expertise is expected to ensure that the facility meets global benchmarks while adhering to local regulations, supporting HONOR’s aim to reinforce retail confidence and enhance after-sales service. The collaboration also aligns with Pakistan’s broader goal of expanding its electronics manufacturing base while generating employment opportunities and building technical skills in the workforce.

By localizing production, HONOR is positioning itself to accelerate business growth and strengthen its retail and service infrastructure in Pakistan. This strategic initiative will not only help the brand respond to market demand more efficiently but also contribute to the overall development of Pakistan’s technology and manufacturing sector. With the facility operational, HONOR aims to deliver a more responsive and reliable experience for consumers while reinforcing its role as a key player in the region’s mobile device industry.

This development signals continued investment by international technology companies in Pakistan’s electronics and mobile sectors, supporting both economic growth and technological capacity building. As HONOR establishes its local footprint, the partnership with Golden Connect highlights the importance of aligning global standards with local capabilities to meet consumer demand and industry expectations.
