The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, is hosting a webinar titled “Maximizing IEEE Xplore Resources for Your Study and Research,” aimed at helping academic communities across the country better utilise one of the world’s most extensive digital libraries for engineering and technology literature.

The session is open to faculty members, researchers, and students enrolled at HEC member institutions across Pakistan, and is designed to walk participants through the full range of resources available on IEEE Xplore, which houses millions of technical documents including journal articles, conference papers, standards, and educational courses spanning fields from electrical engineering to computer science and beyond. As research output and access to quality academic resources remain key priorities for higher education in Pakistan, events of this nature serve as a practical bridge between institutional subscriptions and actual researcher engagement with those tools.

The webinar is scheduled for May 26, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time. Eligible participants from HEC member institutions can register here to secure their spot for the online session.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995.
